The single administrative document is composed of a set of eight copies which have the following functions. They are assembled in sets of 4 copies, of which two can be printed in succession in order to produce the desired combination of copies. 2) The declaration must be drawn up in one of the official languages of the Community which is acceptable to the customs authorities of the Member State where the formalities are carried out. If necessary, the customs authorities of the Member State of export may require from the declarant or his representative in that Member State a translation of the declaration into the official language or one of the official languages of the latter.

Descripción: The Air Cargo Manifest (7509) must contain all required information regarding all cargo on board the aircraft, except that a more complete description of the cargo shipped may be provided by attaching to the manifest copies of the air waybills covering the cargo on board, including, if a consolidated shipment, any house air waybills. A cargo manifest is not required for merchandise, baggage and stores arriving from and departing for a foreign country on the same through flight. Any cargo manifest already on board may be inspected. All articles on board which must be licensed by the Secretary of State shall be listed on the cargo manifest. Company mail shall be listed on the cargo manifest.

Descripción: Customs Bond (301) is a contract that is given to insure the performance of an obligation or obligations imposed by law or regulation. A bond is like an insurance policy that guarantees payment to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) if a required act is not performed. Bonds have a number of uses in CBP. The most common use allows importers to take possession of their goods before all CBP formalities are completed. Another common use allows a carrier to move goods under bond from one place to another before those goods are actually entered for consumption with duties paid. CBP has the authority to require bonds under title 19, United States Code, section 1623. There are three parties to a CBP bond: the principal, the surety and the beneficiary. CBP bonds must be in writing and be signed by the bond obligors. To reduce the possibility of error, the signature of a bond obligor who signs as an individual must be witnessed by two other persons. Single entry bonds should be filed in the port where the transaction will take place.

Descripción: Entry Summary (7501) is one of two essential forms required for an import transaction. Form 7501 details origin and importer information, but the main purpose is to act as a receipt for US Customs. Blocks 27 through 40 are used for an imported item's Harmonized Tariff Classification, the amount and quantity imported, and the value of the goods. With this information, US Customs can confirm the total amount dutiable and request payment from the importer.

Descripción: The Transportation Entry Manifest (7512) is used by commercial truck carriers arriving in the U.S. with merchandise for in-bond transportation. They must present a paper CBP Form 7512 to initiate either a QP or CAFES in-bond movement. With the advent of ACE, carriers will be able to directly file their in bond movement with the ACE eManifest transmission to CBP. Those carriers who elect to use ACE to transmit in-bond movements to CBP will not be required to provide a CBP Form 7512 at the time of arrival into the United States or upon arrival at the destination port. Carriers who elect not to present a CBP Form 7512, will be required to provide the existing eManifest cover sheet, outlined in the memorandum, Uniform Guidance for Presentation of Manifests to CBP Officers for ACE Electronic Truck Manifest.
